What can you expect if you join this study?
A staff member from the BC Generations Project will contact you about taking part. If you decide to join, you will first fill out online consent forms and surveys.
After that, you will be asked to:
Complete sleep assessments, which will include answering questionnaires and wearing a small sleep-tracking device
Complete memory tests
Take part in EEG brain imaging
In some cases, take part in additional brain imaging (MRI, MEG) and provide urine samples
How we protect your information
Your privacy is extremely important to us. Any information you give is kept confidential. As an open science project, we only share de-identified data. This means:
Your name and contact information are removed
You are given a unique alphanumeric code
Researchers only see this code and not your identity. This process makes sure that your data cannot be linked back to you.
