Sharing our early findings at the Cognitive Neuroscience Society Annual Meeting

Researchers from across the globe gathered to share the latest advances in neuroscience at the Cognitive Neuroscience Society Annual Meeting in Vancouver in March 2026. The Brain Resilience Study team presented some early findings that inform our understanding of the aging brain. Below, we highlight our team’s presentations.

  1. Brain Resilience Study Protocol

“The Brain Resilience Study: a dataset of the biological and sociocultural factors affecting brain health in older adults”

Lead investigator Dr. Brianne Kent presented the study’s protocol in a symposium organized by SFU’s Institute for Neuroscience and Neurotechnology titled “Beyond biomarkers: Comprehensive approaches to brain resilience in aging and dementia.”
